I am fully aware that fossil fuels are more expensive than clean energy. But I find it hard to relate to the idea that we will save our children ONLY if it's profitable.

I like many things about Gates and even Musk. There are much smarter businessmen than them—but those others are less rich. There's a guy in Australia who's insanely driven to produce concrete in a climate-friendly way.

But all the businessmen have their thinking tainted by the profit imperative. People who care more about profit than the Earth and their children will not save the Earth, even with some bright ideas and good intentions.

That's why I want climate scientists and YOUNG PEOPLE to be in charge. They are far more capable and trustworthy than Gates or Musk or similar "geniuses."
