I am not gay but I’ve always been astounded at how petty and foolish people can be about things like homosexuality or race. I mean, why should that ever be an issue? Really, if the human race wasn’t egged on by fearful cowardly people who lash out at imaginary enemies, we wouldn’t have sexism or racism. Children don’t have these issues unless or until they are taught to hate.

Meanwhile, we all face BIG problems together—like the climate catastrophe and a rampant virus. It’s really not that complex. We need to work together for the common good. I don’t think I’m special in any way. I think mot people see this—deep down, even those spreading the hatred might see this. They just look the other way.
