I believe that existing systems are not sustainable but we can quickly and sharply slash production by NOT producing crap, sticking mainly to essentials like food and medicine snd shelter. Our climate will be permanently damaged but outright collapse is probably still possible. By NOT producing crap, we will work MUCH less and therefore have TIME to LIVE…which is much better then accumulating crap and self-lobotimizing with what passes for entertainment in the 21st century.

I’m going all out, making the smartest effort I can and inviting everyone who cares to join me. We number only in the hundreds, but I feel we are just warming up.

I haven’t given up because most climate scientists, including many pessimists, have not yet given up. I understand and accept your position. And I deeply respect all the effort you’ve made in the past. I don’t know if anyone has thanked you, but I would like to thank you.
