I canvassed passionately for Kamala Harris. She's a decent person is a terrible corrupt and failing system. Trump is the worst of everything.
I have no illusions about any politician or our political and economic systems. There's no secret. It's out in the open.
Rich people buy politicians and policy to benefit themselves. And they hang the rest of us out to dry.
The system is a series of laws and rules written by a select few of wealthy people and corporations who DO NOTHING and DEMAND THAT WE DO EVERYTHING—for them.
Yes, I'd hoped to avoid the worst by getting Harris and not Trump as president. But the real change comes from NOT working within the system, through dismembering the existing destructive system through nonviolent noncooperation.
Trump does nothing. Harris does nothing. Corporate CEOs and other executives do nothing. The government does nothing.
They issue orders. If we refuse to take their orders, they're done. If their enforcers—policemen, National Guards, military people, and the rest of the hired armed stooges refuse to do their dirty work, they are done.
And why should police work for our oppressors? The police are our parents, spouses, children, siblings. The police and military people are our loved ones. They need to be reminded that THEY are BEING USED by cruel thugs against good and decent people in America and around the world.
It's time to stop. To say no. To refuse to carry out orders that are no more valid than Nazi orders.
WE are. working towards this, towards withdrawing from this failed destructive civilization. We won't contribute to the destruction of the biosphere or the huge waste of life that defines all elitist systems—plutocracy, dictatorship, communist parties, all of it.
