I didn't orginally plan it this way. I had planned to wait for the worst most dramatic climate event of the summer and post "A Climate Declaration" then. But I changed my mind and just picked a date. Once I picked a date, I found I was unable to keep quiet about it.

ACD is INTENDED to unleash the power of (ultimately) literally billions of people to overwhelm the existing powers that be worldwide and force major climate action. It probably will take some time—but I hop not TOO much!

I don't think of ACD as my idea, but rather ideas that are in people's minds already. People KNOW what we are facing; they KNOW what needs to be done (at least in a general way), they KNOW it isn't being done. If I've done it right, and I've read properly what's going on in the minds of sane, caring people worldwide...then I've probably done a good job.

July 14th is just the beginning. I'll be releasing ACD here on Medium; a website at https://aclimatedeclaration.com/.

And an eBook which will probably hit the various online booksellers and distributors unevenly.

And there will be follow ups of various sorts. My intention is to jump start a widespread movement. I'll be hoping for some real help from early adapters.
