I don't know or care whether "sex is a spectrum" or not. And ultimately, I don't think that's the real issue. I think the issue is whether we treat every human being with respect or not. If we bully them, take control of their healthcare, prohibit them from going to the bathroom, accuse them of being "groomers" or exercise any other kind of bigotry and cruelty, THAT's a problem.

This is what's happening to trans people and others right now in the real world. This cruelty and bigotry is the real problem.

Scientists aren't telling people to be cruel or exercise bigotry. I'm quite happy with scientists. They are doing their research and reporting their findings. Peers review studies and whatever survives this scrutiny becomes the standard—our best educated guess for now, and perhaps for a very long time.
