I don't know what will happen but I do know what SHOULD happen.

First of all, note that 40% of the GOP voters voted AGAINST Trump. After his behavior, and his legal troubles, Trump SHOULD be less popular today than he was in 2016—even if his remaining supporters are, on average, louder and more loyal. The bottom line should be—less votes in the general election for him.

Also, women should still be HOPPING MAD and vote in record numbers to defeat the guy who reversed Roe v. Wade and who's party ruled that frozen embryos are people. It's clear that, in effect, the GOP and Trump do not recognize the personhood of women...

Trump's defeat should be big enough that even our anti-democratic stupid electoral college will be unable to hand the presidency to Trump.

That's what SHOULD happen.
