I don’t think capitalism (actually petro-plutocracy) or the systems of any country (China, Russia, Saudi Arabia, whoever) should be allowed to destroy the climate of the Earth, dooming everyone’s children and grandchildren, and all the species that share this biosphere with us.

We have a moral obligation to resist, to speak out, and to make this deadly “business as usual” impossible.

It’s the same moral obligation that should have led the Allies to bomb the train tracks to Auschwitz. (To their eternal shame, they failed to do so.)

Let’s do everything we can. Don’t give up in advance. I firmly believe we can do this.
