I don’t think you’ve got the Great Resignation right. People were so disgusted and desperate that they quit for NO opportunities. They were the working poor and now their the no working poor. All the ditched was the abuse from employers and customers.

End stage capitalism is so abusive that it’s better for some people to not participate at all. THIS will become an ever bigger factor.
