I don’t want to destroy your optimism, but the coronavirus—a huge problem—is many magnitudes smaller in scope than our climate catastrophe. Instead of feeling hope or despair, we must 1) commit ourselves as single issue voters who will ONLY vote for the most committed defenders of the climate and the Earth and 2) write to influential politicians and businesspeople and others every day to urge them to do all in their power to blunt the climate catastrophe for the SAKE OF THEIR OWN CHILDREN and everyone’s children. Reach out as one human to another, whatever mistakes that person has made in the past.
