I feel the urgency. I’ve been screaming bloody murder. But my strategy is now different. I think that if JUST THE PEOPLE WHO ARE SANE AND CARING—for example, parents who’d prefer their children didn’t struggle for survival on a post-apocalyptic planet—did something like disobey authorities, speak out, refuse to do destructive things and disrupt large-scale ecological crimes…well, that would be a meaningful start.

I think there are more than a billion of us. Maybe several billion. But we’ve been trained to not rock the boat, to leave big decisions to authorities, to feel impotent and powerless.

But it is ordinary people WHO DO EVERYTHING. The ultra rich and the (paid for) politicians and other “leaders” do nothing.

They issue orders. If people everywhere VISIBLY stop following orders, defy them, and explain the reason: we won’t participate in planetary ecocide—well, THAT could change things.

Our charges would be impossible to refute to anyone except insane psychopaths. And there ARE insane psychopaths. But we outnumber them by a wide margin.

The psychos make a lot of noise. They’ve been handed the microphone. And we’ve been way too quiet.

Noise and disobedience is where we begin. Not trying is an unforgivable mistake.
