I firmly believe that at least one billion people are much wiser than all of the world leaders combined. World leaders have failed catastrophically—for decades!—to do anything meaningful to stop climate destruction. In fact, they have protected and promoted the fossil fuel profiteers who are making the Earth uninhabitable.
Being wiser than them is a pretty low bar to clear.
In any case, as the destruction become more and more prominent, and the foolish incompetence and insanity of "our leaders" becomes increasingly obvious, WE will react. WE will realize that overthrowing those fools and putting climate scientists and engineers in charge of a worldwide program to stabilize the climate is the only chance our children (and future generations) will ever have.
We will do what's necessary. And a billion people, mostly parents energized by love of their children and the Earth, will be unstoppable.
But let's not wait for this to happen. Let's MAKE this happen NOW.
