I had 2 closeups with the grim reaper but no NDEs. That, of course, proves nothing.

I had a serious of (at the time) fairly frequent Out of Body Experiences. They felt VERY REAL. So, I decided to test it. I put a deck of cards on top of a bookcase where I couldn’t see it.

I cut the cards and then, in my next OBE, “floated” up to look at the card. I memorized it and wrote it down the moment I woke up.

I got the card wrong. So, the OBE was just a powerful and convincing dream.

At that time, I actually emailed Daniel Dennett about this. And Dennett, who was a true gentlemen, wrote me back even though he did not know me.
