I have a B.A. in economics and I have held economics in low regard since learning about it in college.

We don't necessarily need to build new systems from scratch (though some people have some very promising ideas for that!)

If we just replace the values of greed and power lust with generosity and caring and even curiosity and self-expression...well, that alone would move the needle in the right direction.
