I have had a female primary care physician. She is extraordinary. I’d never attributed it to her gender, but maybe that’s a factor. I’m very hard to diagnose because I seem to feel less pain than other people for the same conditions. But my doctor is like an effing detective! I’m pretty sure she saved my life twice (so far).
For my whole life, I’ve preferred women bosses and women doctors. But I’d always assumed (due to the small “sample size”) that this was just a case of a few extraordinary individuals.
I’m counting on the wisdom of women to help trounce the MAGA monsters at the polls in November. It would be nice if more men wised up, too, and did their part.
