I love the tone of this article. I don’t know what the pluses and minuses are in the country you plan to raise your daughter, but even if it’s not perfect, it probably has less severe problems than the the United States has.

Americans have been cruel and short-sighted in the past—but they are all that AND psychotic as well now.

We have done our best while staying in America, moving a few decades back to Philadelphia, a walkable livable city with many cultural attractions. We live close to the Italian Market where we can get decent fresh food. And we rarely go into a car—we walk everywhere.

Still, you and your daughter will probably still live better than us and I think your decision is a wise one. Best of luck!
