I only trust people who have a sense of proportion here. Our entire biosphere is being destroyed. If you fully understand this and truly care, you won't much care about bitcoin or traditional financial institutions.
You'll be too busy caring about the planet we will be handing over to our children. You will care about the planets and animals and all the species that share this Earth with us. You'll understand that we can't keep consuming more and more, and that continuing to take fossil fuels out of the ground means doom for all of us.
This is what climate scientists have spent their lives studying and what they have told us repeatedly. But we don't listen and we simply spew our ideologies and prosaic concerns and ignore them.
And so we have ever worsening and frequent killer storms, wildfires, shortages, crop failures, droughts, floods and more. We should understand that the worst is yet to come and, as a consequence, focusing on doing what we can to stabilize and fix things.
I don't give a flying f-ck about bitcoin or JP Morgan Chase. I care about you people, about YOUR children, about EVERYONE's children.
