I respect you but I believe you are mistaken.

First, the logic that tech got us into this so tech can’t solve it is simply bad logic.

They like saying medicine promoted leeches which killed patients, so doctors giving diabetics insulin can’t solve anything.

I also don’t see why the studies you choose to endorse are better then the views of 15,000 climate scientists who have dedicated their lives to this subject.

That said, I deeply appreciate that you care about the climate catastrophe. And as someone who never owned a car and probably has a relatively low carbon footprint, I actually don’t think my actions matter a bit as long as we keep burning more and more fossil fuels.

Philosophically, I prefer a spartan lifestyle but that won’t save us.
