I sort of agree with you. The LOUDEST Republicans are racist homophobes. The LOUDEST Christians certainly do NOT exemplify "love thy enemy" "heal the sick" or be kind to the foreigner and stranger ("Good Samaritan"). Media picks this up for whatever reason—ratings or the motives of the media owners...I don't know.

In any case, this makes both Republicans and Christians look really bad...and is, I think, unfair to them.

But that also gives the worst among both a dangerous amount of influence and power.

As you might have guessed, my concern is mostly about the climate crisis, not parties. And I'm not seeing either party save us.
