I think this article is well-meaning but based on a false assumption. I believe the vast majority of people everywhere are worried and increasingly alarmed about climate abuse and it’s effects and desperately want effective action taken.

This is supported by a recent UN survey.

But, world leaders everywhere under every system har failed catastrophically to Don anything about it—because all of those systems serve the unenlightened self-interest of dominant elites.

Billions go along with it because they feel powerless and, against all reason, retain hope that leaders will reverse course.

Our group, The Saners, is a budding movement that recognizes that hoping for sanity from those who are leading s off the climate cliff is insane.

WE need to stop obeying. WE do all the work and must stop extracting fossil fuels, stop processing them, stop shipping them, stop selling them, stop buying them, and stop burning them.

We have a viable alternative to the doom we are being offered, indeed ordered, to accept.
