I think we should expose the COPouts as the FRAUDS they are—and that we need to take control of the situation. Playing somebody else game by their rules is a guaranteed losing strategy.
The COP meetings are greenwashing, plain and simple. When true climate activists attend, we add to their credibility. We make it appear as if something good can come of these meetings.
EVERY SINGLE MEETING for nearly three decades has been a catastrophic failure. Yes, even the Paris Agreement. In no case did world leaders behave sanely and sharply and quickly reduce CO2 emissions. Anything less is simply nonsense.
Ordinary people, not leaders and these monumentally stupid political and economic systems, are the only one who care enough to fix this. So, WE WILL DO IT, using the most effective people power—nonviolent noncooperation. The era of fossil fuels ends when we refuse to extract, refine, ship or burn them. The leaders do nothing. They are 100% dependent on US to be obedient, to destroy our own planet, and doom our children—for the benefit of a small undeserving elite.
The COP meetings ARE the sidelines. WE are where the action is.
