I truly appreciate your genuine concern, but I find your continued faith in business and government to fix the problems they've actually steadily promoted for the last 35 years to be misplaced.
The governments and businesses of the world got a clear warning from NASA climate scientist James Hansen in 1988 when he testified publicly before Congress that we must slash fossil fuel use and C02 emissions sharply and quickly—or face dire consequences.
These leaders and authorities have failed to listen to the scientists consistently for 35+ years. They have delayed, made excuses, and INCREASE fossil fuel use and C02 emission. Both are now at record levels.
Promising to do something by 2050 isn't really convincing, especially coming from this group—people who have a decades long unbroken record of failure.
Many of us no longer listen to COP—except to the scientists and we understand that THEIR positions are watered down by the oil profiteers who hold high positions in the COP hierarchy.

No. Those of us who understand what's happening, who see the climate collapse happening RIGHT NOW in real time no longer have the patience to listen to those fools.
It is literally insane to destroy the planet we all live on. WE will not listen to or cooperate with them. WE will behave like responsible adults and end the destruction.
