I understand the Anger & Fear of the Hamas and Israeli Killers. But None of the Killing is Acceptable.
Hey, so-called religious people. Does “Thou shalt not kill” ring a bell?!
I’m reading various passionate articles, some condemning Israel (with racists condemning Jews as a group) and forgiving Hamas’ murderous assault. And others condemning Palestinians, and excusing Israel’s murderous counter-attack on Gaza.
And some are calling for a ceasefire — mostly to get humanitarian aid to Palestinians. Israel claims a cease fire would help Hamas to regroup and re-energize their assault.
Who the hell knows? Who cares?
The killing must stop. Any leaders — in Israel or Gaza — who send people to murder must be disobeyed. Occupation must end.
People must learn that they are not Palestinians or Israelis. They are human beings. They are creatures who have been granted a miraculous and very short existence, of consciousness, of an opportunity to LIVE. Yet these fools embrace hatred, and violence and death.
We will ALL have eternity to be dead. Let’s not waste this precious opportunity for life. Let’s not throw it away. Let’s not invent ridiculous reasons to hate and to kill.
