I was for Sanders and I enthusiastically voted for Hillary As did millions of his supporters because we knew what Trump was. Sanders himself campaigned tirelessly for her as well, despite his age.

I’ve heard that more Sanders supporters voted for Hillary in 2016 than Hillary supporters voted for Obama in 2008.

You know what? Some people don’t trust candidates of either party who are funded by Wall Street or big corporations, whatever party they belong to.

I’m one of those people. But I recognize that Trump is a fascist and that Hilary and Obama are well meaning people.

So I vote for them. But I’m never surprised that Wall Street and oil companies get their way whether the president is a democrat or a republic and that now the Earth itself is burning.

California and Texas is just the beginning and political pragmatism is literal death for our species.

Nature doesn’t compromise even with “moderates.”

We can’t afford half way measures or accept going slow or paying the blame game.

We’ve pissed away 50 years, we are burning fossil fuels at record levels and our dying grandchildren won’t care who holds office when civilization itself collapses.
