If we believe polls are accurate—and I believe most polls are trying to be accurate—then they only tell us that it’s close. Because the polls all fall within the margin of error in swing states.

Polling is HARD. It’s filled with uncertainties and possibilities for major error. Some polls are intentionally biased, but most ongoing polling organizations want to earn a reputation for accuracy.

I believe they’ve undercounted and underestimated both the numbers and passion of anti-MAGA voters. While nothing will surprise me, I see a blue wave as very possible. I think it’s even possible that Harris could win Texas.

But as Yogi Berra wisely once said: It’s difficult to make predictions. Especially about the future.
