I’m a non-believer and I have never cared whether people are religious or not. I care about values and behavior.

In my view, people who reject everything Jesus taught and pretend He supports a hateful and bigoted agenda are not Christians. This is true no matter how many times they slander His name.

You cannot hate your neighbor and be a Christian. You cannot worship wealth and the golden (actually orange) calf and be a Christian. You cannot be cruel to the foreigner and stranger and be followers of the parable of The Good Samaritan.

It’s not that Christianity is evil. It’s that Jesus’ good name has been hijacked by cruel and clueless people. And too many support the hijackers and reject His message of love.
