I’m Jewish and I’m with you. Whoopi did nothing wrong, in my view. Our culture is going through a period of gotcha games where we accuse people of bad intentions, usually targeting people of a different political ideology.

I think this is wrong. We shouldn’t be so quick to condemn people. We can tell more about people from ongoing patterns of behavior.

Using single situations and making the most unforgiving interpretations of peoples words is cheap and wrong.

Ask yourself—who shows patterns of racism, of cruelty, with evidence of actual cruel intent?!

We can tell if we are honest with ourselves. In any case, Whoopi has no record of cruelty. It’s invented by people who play these gotcha games.
