I'm not sure how much of my good behavior is just personal preference and how much is my sense of responsibility.

But I have never owned a car. I walk everywhere, take public transportation. That said, I do sometimes fly, but I try to minimize that because I hate it.

I quit meat at the start of this year and don't miss it a bit.

I'm planning to get a heat pump for my house and eventually move into a space about half the size of the one I live in now. The new space will have a better view, and I like that.

I've always been annoyed at the exploitation of working people—because my dad struggled his whole life and I saw that. When I had a company, I tried to treat employees the way I would want to be treated. I don't know how much I succeeded, but I hope I was a good employer.

Despite all this, I think the most important thing I can do is to be a strong climate influencer—to try to force corporations and governments to slash C02 emissions so future generations—and even the current one—has hope of a better life.
