I’m not sure why you have a set number on the lifespan of wind turbines and solar panels. These are rapidly advancing technologies. They are not fixed in any way. They are getting cheaper to produce and more efficient at producing energy. They do not need fossil fuel energy to produce them—any energy would do. Clean energy hardware can be built using clean energy.

We should be closing fossil fuel plants TODAY. Well, actually we should have been shutting them down for decades.

It’s literally insane that we continue to increase the use of fossil fuels.
