I’m okay with nuclear power—although I find its proponents naive and cavalier about the dangers of it. Nonetheless, in the scheme of things it’s better than fossil fuels—which is death.

And, ummmm…this is as much an existential danger as nuclear war. Except with climate catastrophe, it’s already under way. And given the fact we’ve done nothing to seriously address it, yes, trying multiple things makes a lot of sense.
