I’m sympathetic to the author but the problem with good policies isn’t how they are presented. It’s that powerful people oppose them. This will be the case however these ideas are expressed or packaged.

Even now, we are hearing that Biden is a Socialist.

Now, “De-fund the Police” is considered inflammatory rhetoric. Funding the police to kill black people without consequence is normalized.

This isn’t a problem of rhetoric. It’s a problem of evil, immoral behavior and those who excuse it.
