Immigrants are mostly hard working laborers. Since walking thousands of miles with small children is exceedingly difficult, I think it’s ridiculous to call it restlessness.

I also think that conflating immigration—legal or not—with invasion or conquest does not hold up.

America has been “conquered” by “invading” Germans, by Irish, by Italians, by Jews, by black people who “invaded” when they were kidnapped and brought here in chains, by Cubans and many others.

Our whole damn country is immigrants. Why does only the current wave worry you.

And, it’s true that it turned out badly for Native Americans, but that wasn’t the doing of, say, the Italian immigrants.

I appreciate your thinking, I find your case unconvincing.
