In large part, we aren’t making policy. We are vetoing policy. We are stopping fatally destructive acts—the massive production and burning of fossil fuels. We aren’t overthrowing governments. If they respond by finally going sling with scientists, by actually replacing fossil fuels with clean energy of whatever, that’s great.

But we now know that left to do what they want, they’ll kill us all.
