In reality, pretty much everybody does good and bad things and if we decided to judge everybody by the worst thing she/he/they did, we’d cancel everybody.

How about this—try to dissuade people from doing bad things and encourage them to do bad things.

When they do something seriously damaging, they should be punished. But don’t sweat every goddam thing.
