Is Biden really that different from most Democrats? And do voters really vote based on foreign policy?

I'm WAY to the left of Biden, but I see him as an average Democrat who has the advantage of being the incumbent. I'd see his age as a big problem IF Trump weren't also an old geezer.

Yeah, Trump may defeat Biden. But what Democrat do you see as so popular, s/he'll easily dispense with Trump? Our population is stupid enough to elect Trump, so...we'll get what we get. I'm voting for Biden because Trump is orders of magnitude worse.

Then, IF he wins, I'll fight Biden tooth and nail to make sure we have a livable planet. Or, if HE wins, I'll do the same to Trump. I don't give a damn about anyone's political career.
