It doesn’t need to be like other coups or use weapons that meet with your approval. Do you doubt that they wanted to stop Biden from becoming president? That they intended violence towardsPence and Pelosi and any liberal lawmakers they got their hands on? That they were trying to unlawfully and through violence enable Trump to keep power after his electoral defeat?

They did and even though they failed—so far—it WAS an insurrection and an attempted coup.
