It is revolutions by nonviolent noncooperation, a series of strategic actions that force change through popular support and the weakening of corrupt and cruel systems, that we should be supporting.
Violent revolutions enshrine violence by legitimizing it. But nonviolent revolutions are more often successful (nonviolent movements are statistically twice as likely to achieve their aims) in large part because they draw much broader support.
