It makes me think about whether or not humans are causing the climate collapse. We know we are because scientists did their homework.
But let's assume falsely that it wasn't our fault. Would it be sane to say, let's do nothing about it and let the planet be destroyed, because we aren't to blame?
No. That would be insane.
