It’s astounding what we spend money on without a peep. Incredible military budgets and wars. Incredible subsidies for giant corporations—including the ones most responsible for destroying the Earth.

But to save the planet so our children can live on a habitable Earth? THAT’s the spending that needs scrutiny and justification.

That is literally insane.

What about WHO pays? Shouldn’t we liquidate and sell off the assets of those most responsible for the destruction BEFORE we charge ordinary people a dime? In fact, isn’t stopping drilling and mining and mountaintop removal and fracking THE FIRST STEP to take.

And I find it amazing that some people still trust the market to solve the climate crisis. The market had 35 years of warning and CO2 emissions are at record levels and still increasing. It ain’t gonna happen. We must do it.

I know YOU care about the climate and want us to do what ever is necessary. But you have more patience with the fools who make excuses than I do. I can’t waste my precious time or attention on them.
