It’s past time we stop merely responding to the people and attitudes that got us into this mess: the destruction of the planet, and the virtual slavery of nearly everyone to a privileged few.

All of their assumptions are wrong and self-serving. Here’s the truth.

1. We have the resources and capability to end full time work and provide all the food, housing and healthcare for every single person on Earth. And our capabilities are growing by leaps and bounds. Soon, tweaking genes and DNA will end many of the worst diseases. Clean energy? We have a powerful fusion reactor in the sky providing limitless free energy and our solar panel and batteries are cheaper and more efficient every year. Food? We can grow amazing amounts with very little labor.

2. Work is obsolete and for the first time in history, every person should be able to spend most of their lives pursuing whatever interests them, not struggling for the necessities of life. Yeah, with technologies like 3D printers and robots and supercomputers, work is mostly just for show—a way for an undeserving handful of wealthy people to control us to satisfy their fragile egos. It makes no sense for us to allow this. And everyone will soon realize it.

3. Those who were in charge geo-engineered the climate to destruction and we must use every resources available to reverse it. Fortunately, our species which is hampered by bad leadership and worse ideology has GREAT scientists and engineers who—unleashed and provided with the needed resources—can geo-engineered the planet to (not complete, but substantial) recovery. We should remove every obstacle from their work and start RIGHT NOW.

It’s easy to complain about what’s wrong, and habitual to use the same flawed framework of the establishment to discuss it. But that framework is outmoded and wrong. But the world has changed and our thinking must change, too. We CAN do this.
