It’s the 26th COP. If they were going to do anything, they’d have done it decades ago.

They failed by design. There were hundreds of fossil fuel lackeys at COP. Oil interests would not be at the table if they were serious.

I understand there were many competent intelligent people at COP who do care. But they forget that policy is made by people who do not.

The situation in the US and most of the world is that policy is made by politicians who are bought and paid for by ultra wealthy people who are committed to maximizing their profits on fossil fuels.

I’m reminding you that K Steet exists and your congressperson will take a call from Exxon and NOT from you.

That’s why nothing has been done and the worst thing we an do is treat these world class a-holes seriously or give them respect.

They deserve the same respect as anyone who commits crimes against humanity. Which climate catastrophe is.

They have the power and the responsibility. I hold them responsible.

There are no excuses.

They need to shape up or step aside—or die with the rest of us. Nobody gets out of climate collapse alive.
