I’ve been talking civilly to people in powerful positions (politicians and oil executives mostly) who can make a difference about the climate catastrophe. I point what most of them already know: it’s real and it’s here and if we don’t do enough to fight it, our grandchildren will be stuck on a hostile planet, struggling to survive. And even now we’re going through increasingly extreme conditions—record breaking heatwaves and storms. And more than 100 degrees in SIBERIA.
And then I ask them if they ever think about their grandchildren and what they plan to tell them YOU did for their future when you finally realized the danger they were in.
