Joan, this is excellent. I would suggest that we add one more element to attempting intellectual sovereignty: TRIAGE.

Because it’s so difficult and certain things are worth the effort and others are not, perhaps we should consciously pick which subjects/issues/challenges to focus on? And not sweat the small stuff?

I’ve chosen the climate crisis (what to do about it) and day-to-day living (how to live this short fascinating terrifying thrilling short period of consciousness).
