Kavanaugh and Thomas Publicly Rape All the Women in America From the Bench
This Sorry Court Was Always Illegitimate
The people have withdrawn their consent but the government hasn’t (yet) noticed. They will.
We know that, when confronted with credible accusations of sexual harassment and rape, two nominees to the Supreme Court denied the accusations and were confirmed by the Senate.
This happened even though the women were far more credible — they spoke out fully aware they’d be subject to public attack and humiliation — and ultimately the system promoted the sexual predators. Those men seeking prestigious offices had nothing to lose and everything to gain by lying. So they did.
We know they lied about their “principles”: each was asked about Roe and what they said to win their positions was directly contradicted by their votes this month. We should feel pretty confident that they also lied about sexual harassment and rape. Those of us living in the reality-based community have always known that those two men are guilty.
There are other liars on the Court. Amy Coney Barrett publicly lied when she insisted that the Court was not composed of “partisan hacks.” She decisively exposed her own lie with her vote to repeal Roe.
