Kim Stanley Robinsin is brilliant and his book, The Ministry of the Future, is the 2nd most important book in print today. The MOST important one is How to Blow Up A Pipeline. The idea is simple. Capitalist are investing in and perpetuating fossil fuels because they make money on them. If that investment becomes too risky—if people are blowing up pipelines, if nobody buys SUVs because they keep getting keyed, etc…well, they’ll put their money into something else.

Of course, there will be a big battle to stop the “terrorists” who are destroying corporate property. But that’s what we’ll have to do if we want to live.
