Let’s take apart the planet destroying anti-human systems and “leadership” so that our children and other species that share this Earth with us have a chance.

Much of the damage is permanent and irreversible. But we are morally obligated to salvage what we can.

Ecologically, we will be much worse off than before—forever. We will learn a painful and costly lesson.

But on another level, we can be better off than any generation in history. Because we can learn to live and respect Nature and our status as a part of this bigger system. And we can reject greed and fear and the culture and economics and politics of extraction and pettiness.

We can choose to love one another, care for one another, care for the Earth. We can spend our lives relating to our world and other creatures, rather than waste our lives in an insane pursuit of more and more stuff. Pursuit of crap—which is the exact opposite of the pursuit of happiness.

Let’s do this. Because it is necessary, it is right, it is our moral obligation. And, once begun, this will be intoxicatingly joyful.
