Like you, I’d leave solutions to scientists—they know better than me. As for geo-engineering, we’ve been doing that in an incredibly destructive way by pumping C02 into the atmosphere and getting ourselves into this predicament. If scientists can get us out of it without corrective geo-engineering, I’m fine with that. But whatever they think is necessary works for me.

I’ve been pretty obsessed with climate catastrophe since 1992 meeting Al Gore at a bookstore as he was touring to publicize his book Earth in the Balance.

I think we are largely on the same page. There are many things that concern me, but climate catastrophe is the big one by a large margin.
