Malm is very thoughtful. He suggests that by sabotage, a relatively small group of activists can make fossil fuels a risky and unprofitable investment, forcing a shift to clean energy.
He suggests targeting THINGS, not harming PEOPLE. He also thinks of sabotage as a part of the wider strategy which he believe won’t work without it.
If refineries burn, the protesters get more attention. Demands might be acted on.
