Maryland GOP Governor Smart Enough to Run Scared

Larry Hogan recognizes that women want to retire him — and they are the majority of Maryland voters.

He’s late, and women voters aren’t stupid, but Larry Hogan is trying to retain his job by pretending to care about women.

But this fools nobody. This conversion cannot hide the fact that he has a long history of selling them out. Still, he’s trying. He now says that he’s pro-choice. Now. After years of supporting the forced birthers and the party, HIS party, the one that repealed Roe. And celebrated.

Until the backlash came. Now, the GOPers who haven’t lost all touch with reality are backpedaling…or better yet, changing the subject. They don’t want to be held accountable for their actions, but they will be.

Yes, the media and even the polls don’t show anything significant happening. But the pundits and polls were both completely clueless — and wrong — leading up to the last round of elections. At that time, they predicted a Red Wave and then learned nothing after what actually happened — the GOP did worse than expected in the House and the Democrats retained control of the Senate.

Since then, the GOP and especially the MAGA crowd has repeatedly stuck a thumb in the eyes of women (and those who love them), and continues to abuse women by denying them emergency…
