Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t find the alternative candidates to be inspiring. RFK, Jr. is a vaccine opponent—which means to me that he’s AGAINST public health. And No Labels was trying to recruit Joe Manchin, a coal baron and enemy of the Earth.

I think that it would make sense for voters to vote strategically, against the greater threat to the Earth—whoever you perceive that to be.

This election and even the terrrible things the worst choice do shall pass. Old men die. But damage to our planet is permanent and will doom our children and most of the species that share this planet with us.

This is happening NOW. The climate collapse is HERE. This, today, is our last chance. In 2000, we let the SCOTUS reverse the choice of American voters. We let them install an oil profiteer in the White House, instead of the people’s choice, a passionate climate activist.

Now here we are. Who cares about ANY of these people running for president? If the winner doesn’t protect the planet, we must oppose him and stop him by non-cooperation. Ordinary people do the work—the drilling, the refining, the shipping, even the sales of fossil fuels. We will need to stop. Completely. This would be the beginning of the end of our nightmare.

What we are doing is insane. We should NOT cooperate with insanity.
